Summer seems a distant memory now and with the new collection having been on our minds, The Spirit of Christmas Fair has arrived quickly. Last year we took you on a journey around the fair (click here to read) and introduced you to some of the great things it had to offer. This year we thought we’d do the same. Here’s four great brands you wouldn’t find on the high street we spotted at this years fair.
Designer and founder Katie Harland decided to create this unique shoe brand following her frustration at finding the perfect shoe. She felt heels were uncomfortable and pumps were unsupportive, leading to the creation of Rogues. The shoes combine a variety of textures and colours, using just three pieces of leather to handcraft a range of shoes that are truly one-of-a-kind. The patterns and shades couldn’t help but catch our eye as we strolled the halls of the Olympia this week. Check them out below.
Having been inspired by multiple visits to Pakistan, designer Jodie created this brand with a focus on developing quality scarves using the finest Pakistani silks. There is a wide variety of choice to match every personality and style, from warm and cosy striking block prints to delicate and soft pieces.
With all things fluffy on trend this AW15, 88 & Half’s range of sheepskin and knitwear caught our attention right away. Created by a sister duo with a background in fashion, these ethically sourced pieces come in a range of styles and colours, with clean silhouettes and standout designs.
New to the Spirit of Christmas Fair this year comes a brand with over 20 years experience in jewellery design. Working with a pallet of gold, silver, precious and semi-precious stones, synthetic opals and pearls; every piece is handcrafted in the UK using both traditional and contemporary techniques.

Earlier this year I was inspired to create a leather tote bag which was different to the typical style handbag that I normally create. Generally, SHERENE MELINDA’S handbags focus on the hair-on-hide feature. However, in this case I wanted to create an extra-large soft and versatile shopping bag using some beautiful, glazed leather.
