Summer has certainly turned to autumn now, the temperature has dropped and we’ve all begun pairing our handbags with our favourite winter coats. Autumn heralds the arrival of October, Halloween and for SHERENE MELINDA, a very special awards ceremony. We've been nominated for a BEFFTA (Black Entertainment Fashion Film Television Award) in the category of Best Female Fashion Designer. Please show your support by voting for us (click here to vote). The end of Autumn signifies the arrival of Christmas and to celebrate this year, we’re excited to announce that we will be giving away one of our Sophy Clutches from the new collection. Further to this, we have three Christmas events in November, where we welcome you to visit. We have free tickets available so please contact us if you’d like to join us.
Competition Details
The winner of our Christmas competition will receive a new Sophy clutch, with a choice of one of the available colours. Christmas Events
We exhibited at the Spirit of Christmas Fair last year, which you can read more about here. The event, held in the grand hall of Olympia London, will be a week of seasonal festivities, fantastic food and a wide range of unique gifts to choose from. The Spirit of Christmas fair showcases work from talented designers and craftsmen, offering products that you wouldn’t find on the high street. You can find us on the balcony in the same place as last year, at Stand GH1.
This unique Christmas experience includes a Christmas theatre, chocolate tasting, tea rooms, relaxing bars and a late night Thursday show for those of you who can’t make it in the day. There is an array of perfect gifts and tasty food to choose from, and the venues prime location in Islington makes the event an ideal way to get your Christmas shopping finished early. In the heart of Liverpool’s city centre, you can find a collection of boutiques and brands offering some amazing gifts for your loved ones this Christmas. From unique fashion pieces to creative gadgetry, there’s an endless variety to choose from. There is also a festive food hall to stop at during the day, where you can relax and try some treats. Additionally, there is a catwalk show running throughout the event. You can find SHERENE MELINDA on the catwalk or at Stand H14.

The day the first Sherene Melinda Silk Twill Scarves launched was a true milestone—one I'd worked toward through months of experimentation, setbacks, and small victories. The initial collection featured three carefully selected base colours, each the product of weeks of deliberation, testing, and refinement until they felt exactly right. Every scarf was hand-printed by me in the studio, a process that ensured each piece carried its own individual character and the small, beautiful imperfections that only handcrafting can bestow. SHERENE MELINDA has expanded its luxury offerings beyond handbags to include leather trainers. Sherene has spent a long time designing these sneakers to ensure they are of the highest standard and the most luxurious quality. Each trainer is carefully handcrafted from leather suede on the exterior and is fully leather lined inside. SHERENE MELINDA’s signature Springbok hair-on-hide is also featured down the side of the trainer, making each trainer unique. The hair-on-hide is available in a range of neutral tones, as well as a variety of vibrant colourful tones. The trainers are also extremely lightweight, making them a comfortable go-to pair of shoes, perfect for everyday use or special occasions. Every trainer is handcrafted with utmost care to ensure the result is the epitome of luxury.
