SHERENE MELINDA is excited to announce the next event in our busy Christmas schedule is almost here. This Thursday, November 26th, will be an early start as we make the journey from London to Liverpool for The Ultimate Christmas Fair. This event may be just 4 days long, but there’s a wealth of things to do for both exhibitors and visitors alike. Have a look below to learn more about the Ultimate Christmas Fair and some of the special things going on at this year’s show. What is the Ultimate Christmas Fair?
It was established by husband and wife team Sharon and Steve with the goal of making high street dominated Christmas sales accessible to smaller brands and boutiques. With years of experience and contacts working under event production agencies including LXFX Ltd, they have amassed an attendance of both visitors and exhibitors for this year’s show, which is rather excitingly the first of its kind.
It’s more than just Christmas shopping
As we grow older, we learn that Christmas is not just about gifts. Christmas can become more stressful each year as we find ourselves arranging guest rooms, decorating trees and battling with a horde of equally stressed shoppers. The thing that gives us perhaps the most sleepless nights is preparing the perfect Christmas dinner. Enter celebrity and Michelin starred Chef Alan Murchison, who is on hand at the Ultimate Christmas Fair to give you tips and tricks for this year’s Christmas spread.
Why not compliment this further with a handmade floral centrepiece to decorate the table alongside your food? Alison Cooper from The Flower Studio will be holding workshops offering step by step guides on how to build up the designs of your centrepieces and Christmas wreaths. So why not take your Christmas decorations to the next level this year with a scratch built project that the whole family can be involved in as well.
Inspiration from the Catwalk
There are not many places you can go Christmas shopping in the morning and style spotting in the afternoon. The Ultimate Christmas Fair is offering non-stop entertainment in the form of 46 fashion shows across 4 days, kickstarted by a luxurious evening event on Thursday hosted by Heart Radio’s Lorna Bancroft. Thursday’s event will be complimented by some tasty champagne and celebrity designer Mark Malia, who has been behind some stunning bridesmaid’s dresses across the pool of this year’s celebrity weddings. You can catch up with all the trends from AW15 and see fashion favourites across the whole four days; including the new collection from SHERENE MELINDA, which can be seen on Saturday at 11.30 and Sunday at 13.00.
Win big this Christmas
If you’ve spent all day working tirelessly to find the perfect gift for others, then you deserve to be treated yourself. The Ultimate Christmas Fair is putting on several competitions across the event, including the chance to win a spa break for two at Formby Hall, pictured below.
They are also offering the opportunity to win a rocking horse made by fellow exhibitors Stevenson Bros. Launching their business in the wake of a time when kids were more interested in their newly released Gameboys than a rocking horse, they’ve managed to make many people happy with their bespoke and handmade designs.
The rocking horse, which is signed by Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney, will be exclusively exhibited at The Ultimate Christmas Fair and auctioned via Ebay from November 19th to November 29th. All profits from the auction will be donated to the Alder Hey charity, which helps save young childrens lives and support their family members.

There will also be an opportunity to shop more established brands, such as Tefal who are exclusively launching their newest product at The Ultimate Christmas Fair.
