Between the 5th to 8th September Sherene Melinda will be exhibiting at The Burghley Horse Trials held in the estate of sixteenth century Burghley House close to Stamford.
Known primarily for those who wish to take part and watch the three day eventing of the Horse Trials – ranging from Show Jumping and Cross Country to Dressage, this yearly event draws thousands of visitors from both internationally and closer to home. Whilst this International Horse event takes place in and around the estate, there are also plenty of other activities to experience.
The Shopping area is course one of the big attractions of the event. So if you love the country lifestyle or high quality and authentic clothing and accessories, then there will definitely be something there for you to browse. With whole tented shopping aisles and six large shopping pavilions ranging from The Rural Crafts Association, The Horse Village to The Country Living and Lifestyle Pavilions, the shopping experience has become an integral part of Burghley. Avid shoppers return year after year for their Burghley shop and even pick up a few bargains in the process!

The day the first Sherene Melinda Silk Twill Scarves launched was a true milestone—one I'd worked toward through months of experimentation, setbacks, and small victories. The initial collection featured three carefully selected base colours, each the product of weeks of deliberation, testing, and refinement until they felt exactly right. Every scarf was hand-printed by me in the studio, a process that ensured each piece carried its own individual character and the small, beautiful imperfections that only handcrafting can bestow. Just as with our signature handbags, each scarf possesses a personality of its own, revealed through the interplay of colour, pattern, and subtle texture variations.
