Vogue is considered by many to be a pinnacle of the fashion industry. As our eyes were fixated on US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour during her speech at The British Fashion Awards, the January 2015 issue of British Vogue was in its final stages of production. This particular issue was even more special than a copy of Vogue magazine normally is each month as we knew that our designer profile was to be featured.
Vogue is recognised on a global scale for their contribution to the world of fashion. They release 23 issues of their magazine a month. They have always been an inspiration to SHERENE MELINDA and their support for fresh, unique and distinctive designers is something to be admired. The day the first Sherene Melinda Silk Twill Scarves launched was a true milestone—one I'd worked toward through months of experimentation, setbacks, and small victories. The initial collection featured three carefully selected base colours, each the product of weeks of deliberation, testing, and refinement until they felt exactly right. SHERENE MELINDA has expanded its luxury offerings beyond handbags to include leather trainers. Sherene has spent a long time designing these sneakers to ensure they are of the highest standard and the most luxurious quality. Each trainer is carefully handcrafted from leather suede on the exterior and is fully leather lined inside. SHERENE MELINDA’s signature Springbok hair-on-hide is also featured down the side of the trainer, making each trainer unique. The hair-on-hide is available in a range of neutral tones, as well as a variety of vibrant colourful tones. The trainers are also extremely lightweight, making them a comfortable go-to pair of shoes, perfect for everyday use or special occasions. Every trainer is handcrafted with utmost care to ensure the result is the epitome of luxury.
