After weeks of anticipation our day finally arrived. Despite having spent the past 12 days on our feet at the Ideal Home Show, we couldn't keep the smiles off our faces as we excitedly blew up balloons, chilled the wine, prepared the cake and got ready for a day of celebrations!
If our handbags weren't already enough to grab the attention of passers-by, the festivities taking place on our stand B522 certainly did! Unaware shoppers were overcome as the sounds of glasses clinking and laughs filled the great hall of London Olympia. After we blew out the single candle on our birthday cake and began sinking the knife in to its tasty filling, we were swarmed by eager visitors looking to join us in celebrating with a slice of cake and a glass of wine.
Suddenly we were flooded with the realisation that although the Home Show was a lot of hard work, being here on this special day seemed like the ideal place to celebrate our birthday as we had an audience to share it with.
Reaching this milestone presented us with the opportunity of looking back on the past year and acknowledging how far we have come. For this reason, despite feelings of joy, there was a little part that was slightly emotional as we laughed amongst friends and celebrated amongst customers.
We want to thank everybody who has shown their support over the past year. We cannot express the gratitude we have for everything that you do - from liking a Facebook post to showing off one of our handbags to your friends and spreading the word; every form of your support means a lot.

As the Easter weekend approaches, the egg of Sherene Melinda has hatched, the seed has sprouted, and we now look forward to a year of real growth. The Ideal Home Show is currently drawing to a close and we have been overwhelmed once again with the positive response to our handbags. Next week we will be sharing our experiences from the show and some of the heartwarming responses we received.
