Competition time is a treasured experience here at SHERENE MELINDA. The response we have received from both entrants and the winner is heartwarming. This time around, the competition meant a great deal to us as we were celebrating our one year anniversary. This competition was our way of saying thank you to all of you who have contributed to the development of our brand since it was launched publicly on April 1st 2014.
It is the second time we have held a competition specifically to win one of our Haupt Bags. The competition ran for just over 3 weeks and included entries by email, social media and of course throughout the Ideal Home Show. There were numerous entries and although we could only pick one winner, we want to thank everyone who took the time to enter. This competition’s lucky winner was a lady named Shannon from Warwickshire; here’s what she had to say about her win.

Congratulations and thank you for entering Shannon, what’s your favourite thing about your new handbag?
We are glad to hear she’s a fan of the fan! It is a feature that is truly unique to our handbags.

How did you hear about the competition?
We were glad to hear that our Ideal Home stand and the handbags were attention grabbing! It’s clear that Shannon’s experience gives weight to the expression ‘you have to be in it to win it’. Sometimes it’s easy to put off the task of entering a competition because you think you won’t win but somebody always has to!

What colour Haupt Bag did you choose and why?
We agree that the rose pink is a beautiful colour and it’s also perfect for the summer as well!

Do you have any upcoming events you are planning on wearing it to?
We’ve heard from Shannon that she recently had a work party and wore her new bag for the evening. We hope you had a great time and that people loved your new bag as much as you do!

The day the first Sherene Melinda Silk Twill Scarves launched was a true milestone—one I'd worked toward through months of experimentation, setbacks, and small victories. The initial collection featured three carefully selected base colours, each the product of weeks of deliberation, testing, and refinement until they felt exactly right. Every scarf was hand-printed by me in the studio, a process that ensured each piece carried its own individual character and the small, beautiful imperfections that only handcrafting can bestow.
