With the grey clouds and cold nights of winter now truly behind us (except for today!), with the central heating turned off and this season’s swimwear, sunglasses and suntan lotion now purchased; summer is finally here!
In April, SHERENE MELINDA had the pleasure of announcing that we had a super summer planned, for both us and for you. It was only a few weeks ago that we closed the doors on our latest competition and opened the doors to the announcement of the winner. In the spirit of keeping those doors open, we have some exciting news that will give you something else to look forward to alongside your eagerly awaited vacation plans.
Today marks the commencement of our latest competition here at SHERENE MELINDA. In recognition of the summer season’s flair for all colours vibrant, we will be giving away our last yellow leather clutch bag to one lucky person!
Currently in the process of designing two new styles (to be released later this year), this competition was organised to recognise the development of our brand, as we exclusively gift one of the last bags in our first ever style to a fortunate customer.

The day the first Sherene Melinda Silk Twill Scarves launched was a true milestone—one I'd worked toward through months of experimentation, setbacks, and small victories. The initial collection featured three carefully selected base colours, each the product of weeks of deliberation, testing, and refinement until they felt exactly right. Every scarf was hand-printed by me in the studio, a process that ensured each piece carried its own individual character and the small, beautiful imperfections that only handcrafting can bestow. Just as with our signature handbags, each scarf possesses a personality of its own, revealed through the interplay of colour, pattern, and subtle texture variations. SHERENE MELINDA has expanded its luxury offerings beyond handbags to include leather trainers. Sherene has spent a long time designing these sneakers to ensure they are of the highest standard and the most luxurious quality. Each trainer is carefully handcrafted from leather suede on the exterior and is fully leather lined inside. SHERENE MELINDA’s signature Springbok hair-on-hide is also featured down the side of the trainer, making each trainer unique. The hair-on-hide is available in a range of neutral tones, as well as a variety of vibrant colourful tones. The trainers are also extremely lightweight, making them a comfortable go-to pair of shoes, perfect for everyday use or special occasions. Every trainer is handcrafted with utmost care to ensure the result is the epitome of luxury.
