As trees gain their leaves, the sun sets later and the streets of London are filled with the sights of quickly melting ice cream, we know that summer has truly arrived. In the fashion world, the change in seasons doesn’t just welcome a change in what people do but also what they wear. It’s a ticking clock for designers to have their new collections ready.
Creative Director, Sherene, has been hard at work over the past six months sketching, measuring, sculpting and preparing for the release of the latest collection here at SHERENE MELINDA. With final stitches being sewn we thought it was time to let you, our faithful customers and fans, know of its upcoming arrival and give you a little teaser on what to expect.
We are happy to announce the offering of our first-ever unisex bag, a cosmopolitan rucksack with a clean silhouette that will compliment the body shape of both genders. This also includes an optional laptop case.
Next in the line-up is a conventional satchel with a leather top handle as well as a detachable silver chain and leather strap that allows this compact handbag to be worn over the shoulder or held in the hand.
The third addition is a unique square-shaped handbag using unstructured and supple leather, providing ample room to store even larger belongings such as a camera or tablet. The ‘box bag’ is also offered with a detachable silver chain and leather strap, making it an ideal accessory for day-to-day wear or for travel.
The New Collection is made with signature authentic springbok hair-on-hide and offered in a range of sixteen seasonal colours; including new shades of green and grey along with classic red, orange, yellow, olive, lime, taupe, pink, baby blue, purple, royal blue, burgundy and neutrals. All handbags are fully leather lined with the softest natural ecofriendly leather.

The day the first Sherene Melinda Silk Twill Scarves launched was a true milestone—one I'd worked toward through months of experimentation, setbacks, and small victories. The initial collection featured three carefully selected base colours, each the product of weeks of deliberation, testing, and refinement until they felt exactly right. Every scarf was hand-printed by me in the studio, a process that ensured each piece carried its own individual character and the small, beautiful imperfections that only handcrafting can bestow. Just as with our signature handbags, each scarf possesses a personality of its own, revealed through the interplay of colour, pattern, and subtle texture variations. This unwavering commitment to uniqueness and craftsmanship lies at the very heart of the brand's philosophy—celebrating individuality, creativity, and honouring the human touch behind every product we create.
