And more than TEN years since the days I was working straight out of my lounge at home with storage units rented all around the town and my photo studio set up in my bedroom. As a strong believer in the pre-loved market for special items (both for furniture and fashion) and along with our brand philosophy that the handbags are designed for life, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to showcase some of these special items.

Whilst a beautiful physical gift 👜👟 is no doubt appreciated, this is not the only way to give and receive love. ❤️ The "languages of love" concept was popularized by Dr. Gary Chapman in his book "The Five Love Languages". The Definition of a Luxury Handbag

When I set out with the idea of starting SHERENE MELINDA I had to think hard about what kind of brand and range of handbags I wanted to create. It did not take me very long at all to establish that the handbags had to be luxurious - all the way! This was initially quite daunting as it sets the bar high, however, the more I worked through my designs and set the materials focus, I began to realise that I could actually do this!

Have you ever been intrigued about how a handbag is made? I was, and this is what sparked my interest in this handbag business all those years ago. The Studded Handbag Collection

One of our exciting developments this year has been the introduction of our Studded Collection. We have launched the entire collection of our distinctive handbags with a striking studded feature. These designs reflect the exceptional quality of both workmanship and materials that we have become known for, offering something new whilst maintaining the contemporary styling by way of a silver cone shaped stud design feature.

My life during lockdown

In the first few days of lockdown it really started to dawn on me - the true enormity of what was happening, in a way that I would wake up and the first thing I would think is about this situation and how my usually busy day ahead is so altered from normal.
